As a Clinical Nurse (Educator/Quality), you'll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of Vela St Vincent's Care Services Carina. This role has a strong focus on continuing quality improvement activities, educating staff and assisting in providing direct patient contact when required.

Located just 7 km east of the CBD at Carina, and set in a homely, community-oriented and friendly environment surrounded by landscaped gardens, Vela St Vincent's Care Services Carina will deliver outstanding levels of wellbeing and comfort for our residents and a positive uplifting work/life balance for our staff.

Things that work for us:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Nurse Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) essential
  • A minimum of four years previous experience in aged care setting
  • Advanced clinical skills and exercises extended autonomy of decision-making working closely with managers and other senior clinicians
  • Experience as an educator or in quality improvement would be highly regarded
  • A good understanding of the Aged Care Standards
  • A strong understanding of Nursing and Care practices
  • Ability to maintain collaborative and effective relationships with all multidisciplinary team members
  • Ability to work flexibly within the business
