The Clinical Nurse is responsible for a portfolio with a focus on clinical care/leadership, management, education and/or research.

Bollon Community Clinic is a designated Remote Area Nursing Incentive Package (RANIP) site in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health) Award – State 2015. This attracts additional entitlements which may include:
- An annual isolation bonus paid annually!
- Return airfares to the nearest provincial city in conjunction with leave!
- Additional annual leave per annum!
- Additional professional development leave, travel and associated costs per annum!
- Appointment and transfer expenses!
