Full Time - 76 hours per fortnight
The Opportunity
Clinical Nurse – Laparoscopic surgery
Duties and responsibilities will involve, but are not limited to:
Promotes and maintains clinical standards in designated specialty to ensure the delivery of quality patient care.
Responsible for the delivery of nursing care in accordance with organisation policies and procedures, as well as in accordance with the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
Participates as a supportive team member in clinical decision-making.
Provides clinical leadership as a role model for practice.
Be committed to maintaining a positive culture within the department.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting with experience working as Scrub / Scout nurse across specialties such as general surgery and gynaecology. Your passion for providing quality care, ability to work within a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team environment and your client-first attitude is essential for this role.
The successful candidate will also meet the following:
Minimum of 5 years recent Perioperative experience as a Scrub / Scout nurse.
Advanced level of skill in Laparoscopic surgery
Well-developed problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to demonstrate clinical leadership
Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
Preceptor / mentoring skills are highly desirable.
Current Registration with AHPRA as a Division 1 Registered Nurse.
Remuneration: $99,405.54 - $105,615.88 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (WA Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4)
