About this role: The Clinical Nurse Manager position provides clinical leadership, effective management and is responsible for standards of nursing practice and monitoring client/patient care in the area of responsibility to ensure safe effective and efficient service provision. The position provides a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care and provision of services to internal and external customers and provides operational and management support across all areas of service delivery.
As the Maternity & PaediatricsClinical Nurse Manager you will have the opportunity to significantly contribute to the health of the local community in a way that is immeasurably rewarding. You will be responsible for providing advanced clinical nursing practice and governance to ensure safe and quality patient care in the region. Specifically, you will provide nursing leadership and management by supporting the regional management team. Importantly you will develop and implement initiatives for including progression of the health reform strategy, continuous quality improvement and improving patient safety.
