About the Role
We are looking for a Clinical Nurse to provide oversight and ensure compliance in all areas of resident care as outlined in organisational policy. Provide a high level of clinical advice and education to Level 1 Registered Nurses and Disability Support Workers. Assess residents' care needs, develop relevant care strategies and evaluate care plans.
About You
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Relevant post registration qualifications in a specialty area or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical nursing practice with an understanding of contemporary nursing theory and care documentation models
- Proven leadership skills and ability to engage and support RN's and Disability Support Workers
- Demonstrated knowledge of continuous quality improvement principles and aged care accreditation, and an ability to manage and implement significant administrative and clinical initiatives
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and analytical and clinical research skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, supervise and direct within a multidisciplinary team - Proven ability to effectively liaise with the care services team, residents and their relatives, and other health/aged care professionals
- Demonstrated proven ability in the use of Computers and technology including software such as the MS Office suite of applications.
Ability and willingness to work within the Philosophies, Policies and Procedures of WMQ
Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance held before commencing
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety and You' completed before starting
- Proof of Vaccination Status as required by Legislation, Health Directives or WMQ Policy throughout employment and prior to commencement.
