About the Role
We are currently seeking dynamic and reliable Clinical Nurse with a quality auditing background to join our team at our facility in Paradise.
Working in consultation with the Care Manager the Clinical Nurse will:
- Provide guidance and mentoring to direct care staff regarding infection control practices and other complex care delivery procedures.
- Conduct audits, analyse data, and prepare detailed reports on quality metrics.
- Implement and monitor quality improvement plans and strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate continuous improvement.
- Ensure appropriate documentation is maintained to reflect resident care, funding, legal requirements and all relevant legislation and standards.
- Ensure best practice clinical care is consistently delivered by clinical care staff.
- Build and maintain relationships with team, residents, family members and external stakeholders.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Registered Nurse with current registration.
- Demonstrated experience and a passion for working in Aged Care.
- Comprehensive clinical knowledge, particularly to age related issues, and experience working with contemporary practices in an aged care environment.
- Strong understanding of home care services and standards.
- Knowledge of quality assurance processes and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand and adapt to different clients' processes.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including Booster shot) and Seasonal Influenza vaccination.
- Police clearance.
