We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Nurse to join our Respiratory Out of Hospital Services Team!
About the Role:
As a member of the SALHN Out of Hospital (OOH) Respiratory Service, the Clinical Nurse is accountable for delivering culturally appropriate, equitable, comprehensive, high quality and contemporary respiratory focused services to patients. The SALHN OOH Respiratory Services is a multidisciplinary team providing respiratory services in the community for patients with chronic respiratory conditions. You will provide nursing services in a variety of health service settings, including outpatient clinics and patient's homes, which has been consolidated by experience and/or further study with staff at this level developing from competent to proficient practitioners.
Requirements for the role:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
- Significant experience in working in a Primary Health Care/community health setting and working with a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to undertake a range of nursing interventions including psychosocial assessment, advocacy, and case management/care coordination including referral to other disciplines and agencies.
