-This is a Permanent Part Time appointment at 40 hours per fortnight.We are currently seeking highly experienced and qualified Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) for the Mental Health Liaison deparmtent at Fiona Stanley Hospital.The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), in partnership with the Nurse Director, is responsible for the delivery of quality patient care within their speciality. The CNS delivers quality patient care across Fiona Stanley Hospital, through developing standards of practice, implementing changes to clinical practice, education of staff and initiating research and quality improvement activities. The CNS is responsible for the provision of a consultation service within their area of expertise assigned to consumers within the Hospital.As a senior nurse the CNS has professional accountability to the Nurse Director Mental Health and Director of Nursing and Midwifery and provides mentorship and role modelling for nurses and contributes to the advancement of the profession, in keeping with the vision and values for Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospitals Nursing Group.Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built Mental Health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service.
