Permanent Full-time or Part-time Opportunity | North Shore Private Hospital
The Opportunity
As a member of our Operating Theatre team, you will act as a clinical and professional resource person demonstrating broad knowledge and clinical expertise in all facets of caring for the patient whilst demonstrating a high level of critical thinking and problem-solving skills within the clinical setting.
You will contribute to, and participate in, the education of staff at all levels by being involved in department orientation, in-servicing and clinical competence programs. As a CNS, you will also make a valuable contribution to the Hospitals continuous improvement processes.
Your Skills and Experience
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse with experience in Theatre
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of scope of practice in line with relevant registration
- Knowledge of legislative requirements in relation to nursing practice
- Knowledge of Quality/Continuous Improvement processes
- Advanced problem solving and negotiation skills with the ability to think critically and prioritise workloads
- Strong desire to successfully enhance team performance and experience
Overall, you will be a positive and effective team player who brings excellent clinical skills. Your flexibility to work across a rotating roster including, morning, afternoon and night shifts is a requirement for this role.
Remuneration
A base hourly rate ranging from $50.29 + superannuation, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW Clinical Nurse/Midwifery Specialist)

Requirements
