Exciting prospects await highly driven Clinical Nurse Specialists specialising in PACU/Recovery to enhance their clinical skills and pursue further education at a newly established private hospital in Melbourne. Both full-time and part-time positions are currently open for application.ABOUT THE ROLE Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering safe, researched-based standards of nursing care;
- Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care;
- Delivering education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs;
- Leading successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes;
- Working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs;
- Acting as a role model for Safe Practice.
- Relevant registration with AHRPA as a Registered Nurse;
- At least 1 year of specialty experience;
- At least 2 years of postgraduate experience in an acute hospital setting.

ABOUT THE FACILITY The hospital, located in Melbourne, is a 126-bed facility with operating theatres, a cardiac catheter lab, inpatient wards, and a day oncology centre. Future plans allow for the continuing development of the site to continue to grow and meet the health care requirements of the expanding community. This new state-of-the-art hospital is due to open in February 2024.
