About the role
While fulfilling the role of Clinical Practice Development Nurse Consultant, Level 3, nurses, at this level, use their clinical knowledge and experience to use their clinical knowledge and experience to support the operational and strategic projects related to Clinical Practice.
The Nurse Consultant participates in nursing policy, procedure development and implementation of key projects and procedures as directed by Program Nursing Leadership.
Employees classified at this level, provide clinical nursing expertise for specified individual patients/ clients and/or groups and/or patient/ client populations. Level 3 clinicians are autonomous clinical decision makers, working independently and collaboratively in the health care system.
Qualifications
Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate
