We are partnering with a client who are a NDIS not-for-profit organisation offering in home care and community support services to children and adults living with disabilities. They are one of the most prominent and progressive service providers here in SA with a great name and reputation in the market for being professional and progressive.
We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Registered Nurses / Clinical Nurse Educator to join the team to assist and oversee the corporate governance, client care, workforce development and quality management systems.
This role will also oversee the clinical health care plans and training.
As a casual to begin with you will be paid a very competitive hourly rate and will also have the opportunity to work with some flexibility. This role can also be part time negotiable.
Key responsibilities…
- Develop and maintain an effective clinical governance framework
- Develop, deliver and assess clinical training to staff
- Ensure clinical risks are appropriately managed and mitigated
- Work with various stakeholders to deliver training and advisory
- Support the integration of clinical governance
- Establish and maintain care plans and standards are met
- Support quality management and audit activities
- Clinical risks are appropriately managed and mitigated
- Ensure customer care meets quality standards
- Develop and maintain clinical training resources
- Guide and supervise the Registered Nurse to perform clinical care tasks
- Clinical training is developed and delivered to meet the needs of Customers
- Workforce is appropriately trained and certified to deliver high quality service
We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Registered or Clinical Nurse who has experience working in the disability sector, strong understanding of corporate governance processes and frameworks and experience developing and delivering clinical training to staff.
As the educator you will also bring strong relationship and stakeholder engagement skills and a genuine passion and respect for working with people with a disability.
You will also need to understand risk management principles, follow reporting processes and understand and apply contemporary theory and practice to the provision of disability services.
