Royal North Shore HospitalWhat you'll be doingThe Clinical Psychologist is responsible for the provision of high-quality psychology services to the patients of the Menopause Hub. He Clinical Psychologist is to deliver patient care for complex/severe symptoms of menopause in an enhanced model of care within an expanded medical, nursing, and allied health dedicated service team. Supporting CCLHD, FWLHD and WSLHD Menopause services. The Allied Health Model of Care and referral pathways for the Menopause Hub RNSH, will provide statewide multidisciplinary care and support.People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Full general AHPRA registration as a Psychologist and is either endorsed within their area of practice or able to progress through the registrar program, with a minimum two-year full-time equivalent postgraduate Master's degree or higher in Clinical Psychology.
- Demonstrated clinical experience working with consumers with complex and chronic adult mental health issues.
- Experience in conducting psychometric assessments for adults and report writing. Knowledge regarding a wide variety of psychometric tests.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in a minimum of two evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Interpersonal Therapy.
- Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal, and demonstrated computer literacy.
- Skills and or experience in consultation with and supervision of peers.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
