About the Role:
We are seeking two experienced Clinical Research Coordinators to join the Haematology Clinical Trials Unit for a 12 month contract.
These roles support Clinical Trials sponsored by industry, collaborative groups and academic institutions.
The Clinical Research Coordinators will work in collaboration with a dynamic multidisciplinary team. They will be responsible for the coordination and management of Haematology Clinical Trials including liaising with sponsor and internal study teams, patient education and support, data collection and entry. Your role will be challenging and rewarding.
The successful candidate will undertake but not be limited to the following duties and responsibilities:
- Liaising with Investigators, Sponsor Personnel, Study Participants, Pharmacy and other CRC’s.
- Document preparation, record keeping, data entry and ethical compliance according to regulations.
- Coordinating the consenting process for trial participants according to GCP guidelines.
- Biological sample processing and shipment.
- Intravenous accessing and phlebotomy.
- Patient care and frequent monitoring of clinical trial patients.
- Scheduling subject visits and study procedures.
- Maintaining communication and correspondence with subject monitors, sponsors and other study personnel to ensure a quick turnaround of essential duties.
The successful candidates will possess the following essential criteria:
- BSc. Nursing, Pharmacist or equivalent degree is essential.
- Previous patient care experience is essential.
- Experience as an oncology coordinator for at least two year is essential.
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of GCP, ICH Guidelines and Country regulatory environment.
- Demonstrated organizational and planning skills and independent decision-making ability.
- Attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Independent use of IVRS, eCRF, Microsoft Suite, Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS), Electronic Investigator site File (eISF),Document exchange portals).
- Ability to travel across sites where required (occasionally)
- Full working rights in Australia.
This role will be on a full-time basis for a period of 12 months with possible extension.
