- Salary: $95,588 - $101,109 p.a. - ASO6 - Full-Time Temporary up to 1 January 2025
The Clinical Research Manager (CRM) provides both administrative and clinical research management services, which ensures oversight and management of clinical trials across all departments at Lyell McEwin Hospital within the Clinical Trial Unit.
In this capacity, the position is responsible for providing a range of management functions for the Unit, which may include: overseeing a range of day-to-day administrative and financial management functions; managing, recruiting and/or developing clinical professional, nursing, administrative and clerical staff; developing and implementing procedures; negotiating and monitoring budgets; attending and supporting meetings; coordinating and managing communications; and making purchasing decisions.
In the Clinical Trial setting the CRM is responsible for the efficient running of the unit and the execution of trial specific activities such as recruitment and trial selection; facilitation of study start-up and negotiation of clinical trial research agreements with sponsors; and assuming professional responsibility and governance for the operational functions associated with the trials within the unit.
To be eligible for this role you must hold an appropriate degree in Science, Health Science, Allied Health, Nursing or other related discipline from an accredited college or university.
COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement under the Emergency Management (COVID-19) (Healthcare Setting Workers Vaccination) Directions 2022 No 7 to work in SA Health/health care setting.
