- Coordinate and manage daily warehouse and transport operations, ensuring safe and timely deliveries.
- Keep track of budgets and expenses, maintaining compliance with agreed limits.
- Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating employees while monitoring overtime to stay within budget.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address customer service and supply chain issues.
- Monitor picking rates and accuracy to meet KPI benchmarks and minimise errors.
- Support food safety protocols, prepare for audits, and ensure compliance.
- Plan delivery routes and manage maintenance schedules for delivery vehicles.
- Develop and implement ideas to enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead stock takes of the site and vehicles with relevant team members.
- Experience in food distribution is a must.
- Knowledge of operational, warehouse, transport, and distribution functions.
- Strong knowledge of the cold store process within the food service industry.
- Has previously coached supervisors and built a team environment.
- A forklift licence and HR driver's licence is a must.
- Knowledge of HACCP is required.
- Full Australian Working rights are required.
- Proficient in using using computers.
