ABOUT WOODBURY
Woodbury is more than just an educational institution. We're a community that values growth, progress, and every individual's unique journey. Our early intervention centre, Ruben’s Place and primary school, Woodbury, cater to students aged 3.5 to 12 years, diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We've built an environment that thrives on structure, a remarkable staff-to-student ratio, and the power of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) teaching techniques that make learning enjoyable and successful.
With a strong emphasis on Today’s ABA, we value student safety and well-being, creating an environment where each child's development is nurtured and supported. Our vision is to provide a safe, caring, and enjoyable educational haven for all our students. We tailor classroom activities to each student's level of support, ensuring that education, self-management, communication, language, and functional life skills are integrated seamlessly into their learning experience.
Woodbury operates as a transition school with an impressive staff ratio of 1:2. Throughout our student’s enrolment at Woodbury, we focus on building their skill capacity and minimizing barriers to learning. This strategic approach aims to empower our students, preparing them for independence in a less supported environment as they progress to later stages of their education.
Collaboration is the heartbeat of our approach. Our teaching staff and ABA / behaviour specialists work together to maximize each student's progress, giving them the tools needed to thrive.
