At CatholicCare, we currently have an exciting opportunity for you to lead our Multisystemic Therapy Child Abuse and Neglect (MST-CAN) program as the MST-CAN Lead/Clinical Supervisor.
As the MST-CAN Lead/Clinical Supervisor, you will supervise a dedicated team of 4 staff members providing treatment for serious, high-risk, and complex cases of child abuse and neglect.
You'll work closely with your team to address multiple factors contributing to referral behaviours in the family's environment.
This is a full-time perm opportunity based out of our Tuggerah, Central Coast NSW office location. We provide flexible work options and focus on staff training and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting weekly MST-CAN group supervision with USA consultant and providing ongoing individual supervision to ensure clinician competency.
- Assuring appropriate documentation of clinical efforts and collaborating with MST-CAN experts for training and resources.
- Building relationships with Department of Community and Justice (DCJ) to ensure a continuous stream of referrals.
- Demonstrated experience with a Ph.D. or Master’s degree in clinical or counselling Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and build an engaged team and positive work culture.
- Demonstrated experience/knowledge in social, ecological, behavioural and cognitive theories and applications in the areas of trauma treatment and anger management.
- Implemented interventions within family systems to address child abuse and neglect.
- Demonstrated ability to manage crisis situations and make sound decisions under pressure.

- Develop and build leadership and management skills in this supervisory/clinical position.
