The Clinical Support Nurse will be a valued member of the Wodonga Day Procedure unit and will be required to provide professional practice and work-place Clinical Support to all nursing staff employed in their area of responsibility. This role acts to support the Nurse Unit Manager in the development and maintenance of care standards by providing strong leadership with an education focus. The Clinical Support Nurse will employ creative thinking, time management skills and a problem solving approach in addressing the education needs of the unit. Mandatory Requirements:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Vaccination Catergory Type A
Working with Childrens Check
Key Selection Criteria:
- Tertiary qualification in Education and/or Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment is highly desirable (or willingness to work towards).
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and skill in practice area.
- Demonstrated clinical education skills with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team structure in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Applying education strategies to mitigate risk
- Research to inform Evidence based Best Practice.
