About the role
Reporting directly to the Clinical Care Manager and General Manager, the Clinical Care Team Leader is responsible for providing and coordinating resident care, supervising care staff, and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Clinical Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the clinical and allied health services under the direction of the Clinical Care Manager
- coordinate and evaluate individual resident care within the scope of practice and ensure it aligns with Regis Aged Care policies and procedures
- conducting staff competency assessments and contributing to staff training
- ensure accurate and timely completion of clinical documentation, including care plans, clinical assessments, and progress notes
- liaise with the CCM to ensure resident care outcomes are met
- provide person-centered resident care, prioritizing social, emotional, spiritual, and recreational needs
- maintain high standards of care management and nursing interventions
- monitor medication management and assist with 24-hour progress notes review
- promote harmonious interpersonal relations with residents, families, and staff

About You
- Current registration with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an RN with no conditions
- first aid certificate (advantageous)
- frontline management certificate (advantageous)
- experience in an aged care lead role (residential or community) is preferred
- strong computer literacy
- knowledge and experience in clinical services in aged care
- sound knowledge and understanding of the AN-ACC funding system
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- strong knowledge of workplace health & safety, infection control, and manual handling
- positive attitude towards working with the elderly
- familiarity with relevant laws, acts, regulations, and codes of practice.
