About the area
The PERTH (Plastic Exposure Reduction Transforms Health) Trial is a new research study at the UWA Medical School. The study involves a 1–2-year interventional Clinical Trial to investigate the impact of plastic-associated chemicals on human health. This position is based at the QEII Medical Centre campus.
About the opportunity
As the appointee you will, under broad direction, organise the clinical operation, and the implementation of the PERTH Trial protocol. You will work alongside and coordinate the operations of the clinical team, recruiting and retaining participants and ensuring their welfare. You will monitor the GCP compliant operations of the trial, ensuring the completeness of data gathered at participant visits.
About you
- Relevant degree qualifications or demonstrated equivalent experience
- Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
- Extensive experience coordinating Clinical Trials at a Senior Research Nurse level
- Substantial experience in phlebotomy
- Demonstrated knowledge of GCP and principles
Note: Occasional weekend work and some early mornings starts may be required during the trial recruitment phase
