About Us:
Linear Clinical Research Ltd is an internationally recognised, not-for-profit. Founded by the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research (Perkins), Linear has Western Australia’s only dedicated early phase Clinical Trials facilities located in Nedlands and Joondalup where we focus on early phase Clinical Trials across a broad range of therapeutic areas.
Here at Linear that includes a broad oncology portfolio that continues to expand as we open the Advanced Cancer Trials Centre (ACTC) in early 2024, the first of its kind facility in Australia dedicated to bringing novel therapies through Clinical Trials to the cancer patients of Western Australia. The ACTC is situated on the QEII Medical precinct, directly next to the WA State Cancer Centre.
The Role:
Maintain a high level of knowledge of trial start dates to ensure screening appointments support timely project delivery
Ensure adequate numbers of participants are sourced for project/ trial requirements
Review and verify online pre-screen submissions to ensure accuracy
Ensure pre-screening telephone interviews are conducted in an efficient and professional manner
Ensure volunteers who pass pre-screening have screening appointments arranged
Ensure correspondence with volunteers is conducted in a timely manner
Ensure all systems and databases hold information in line with Linear’s privacy policy

Desired Skills and Experience:
Demonstrated experience in customer service
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organisational skills with ability to meet multiple and competing deadlines
Self-motivated with the ability to work within a team environment
Sound negotiation and diplomacy skills
Although not essential you will be looked upon favourably if you can demonstrate:
Tertiary qualification in Customer Service Marketing or Science related degree
Experience within a Clinical Trial environment
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a call centre environment
Previous experience in a Marketing, Communications, Web design, Computer Science or Graphic Design role
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage databases
Experience in using Customer Relationship Management systems
