What You'll Be Doing

Perform a range of laboratory support services to the clinical trial unit. This includes services for blood collection, specimen collection and tracking, specimen processing in line with protocol required procedures and routine maintenance of laboratory equipment to deliver a patient focused service.

Selection Criteria

• Certificate III/IV in Pathology Collections.
• Previous experience in pathology services including venepuncture, sample management (collection, processing and shipping) and safe laboratory working procedures.
• Knowledge and skills to perform PBMC sample processing as required or willingness to work toward same.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills preferably in a clinical environment, including the ability to communicate effectively with customers, patients and clinical staff.
• Demonstrated problem solving and trouble shooting skills, with the ability to resolve issues.
• Excellent computer skills including high attention to detail and data accuracy. Ability to learn local software as required (MosaiQ, eMR).
• Excellent time management skills.
