We are seeking a delivery focused Cloud & Infrastructure Architect to provide technical leadership, create design artifacts and develop cloud governance procedures to support a private Data Centre to public cloud migration.

This full time, fixed term (until November 2025) position is currently based in Blackburn North with WFH/Hybrid options available.

About the role

Reporting to the Senior Manager Cloud and IT Infrastructure the responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Designing Cloud and related infrastructure
• Supporting Cloud and IT Infrastructure Service Transition and Service Design
• Supporting identification and mitigation of cloud and security risks and issues
• Analysis of cloud usage to make recommendations for improved design
• Championing cloud architecture initiatives and technologies with stakeholders and peers

About you

To be considered for this position you will possess:

• A postgraduate degree or relevant industry certification with extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and high-level relevant experience
• Outstanding demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
• Well-developed relationship management, interpersonal and influencing skills

Whilst also having experience:

• in an Enterprise or Emergency Services and/or Health Services organisation
• with cloud based Virtual Networking, Compute, Storage, Cost Management and addressing security controls and audit issues in the Cloud
• in architecting and implementing a secure Enterprise Cloud infrastructure
• levering IaaS, PaaS and SaaS services in complicated designs
• in Enterprise cloud Landing Zones and migrations as well as Azure Native Security Services
• with Microsoft Applications, Microsoft Azure, cloud design, Azure DevOps, Azure Repos/GIT, Azure Pipelines, CI/CD, ARM Templates, BiCep and/or Terraform
