Uniting cutting edge technology, data, and retail smarts, you'll work behind the scenes, in the margins, and across every corner of the business - to uplift our capability, amplify our collective impacts, and revolutionise the customer experience.What will I be doing?This role is part of the Service Operations and Infrastructure Group and liaises with Business Customers, Various IT Departments, Service Providers and Strategic Partners. The role will be responsible for providing hands on technical expertise in Cloud Infrastructure Platform support and ongoing operational oversight of the Cloud Platforms within Woolworths' Multi Cloud environment. As an experienced Subject Matter Expert in cloud (SME), you will be heavily involved in support, management, administration and continuous improvement of the services that run Woolworths's Multi Cloud environments. Leveraging our relationships with strategic partners, you will ensure best practices are followed, promoting automation and proactive activities, as well as overall Platform stability and handling of support escalation
- Multi cloud implementation, working with various digital and non-digital teams.
- Operational oversight of Google Cloud Platform.
- Operational oversight of key supporting services underpinning our cloud platforms.
- Operational oversight of all Platform related services that ensure stability and availability of our strategic Platforms.
- ITIL service operations responsibility for Woolworths cloud environments including risk and issue, incident, problem, availability and change management.
- Operational maintenance and smooth running of Woolworths multi cloud Platforms, including continual service improvement.
- Service transition of new and changed Services into BAU Operations.
- Adherence to IT service management disciplines and company methodologies.
- Ensure that the culture of customer service and satisfaction is maintained at all times, with responsiveness to customer needs and pro-activity to business and technical requirements.
- Manage escalations hierarchical and process related escalations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement within the Service Operations and Infrastructure (SOI) area
- Experience in managing services that scale on public cloud - preferably GCP
- Experience and firm grip on DevOps best practices and architectural patterns that support these practices
- Experience in large scale enterprise environments
- Relevant experience in Enterprise Cloud Platform Management or Support
- Experience in project life cycle and transitioning to BAU Operations
- A strong track record operating in Large Enterprise hosting and cloud environments
- Previous experience working in a multi sourced environment
