The Austrian Australian Club is looking to appoint a hands-on Manager with excellent communication, people skills and a little bit of banter to lead the Club into a new era.

The Club Duty Manager's duties will include:
- Manage all aspects of the Club's day-to-day operations.
- Oversee employee relations and maintain high standards of staff performance, particularly customer service.
- Maintain Club's end of day financial records and reports.
- Work with the Club’s General Manager and Board to implement strategic plans and lead the club into future opportunities.
- Manage liquor, gaming and TAB activities.
- Be the 'face of the Club' for the members and community. We pride ourselves on being very member focused.
To be successful, you will meet the following criteria:
- Experience in venue/operations management in a hospitality, or food and beverage environment, or a willingness to learn.
- Sound knowledge of gaming operations, TAB, and club promotions.
- Possess a high level of business ethics and integrity.
- Ability to build and lead a successful team.
- Have a good working knowledge of relevant ACT legislation, particularly liquor and gaming licensing, and Workplace, Health, and Safety.
- Experience in financial management, analysis, and reporting.
- Ability to develop the Club through innovative initiatives and marketing those strategies through all forms of media.
- Current ACT RSA and RCG certificates, and GCO a plus.
- Will require a national police check.
