CNC Machine Setter / Programmer / Operator / Machinist
A passionate experienced CNC Operator to work on in-house CNC tooling and prototype requirements for an automotive accessory manufacturer.

Manufacturing and distributing a large range of Automotive Aftermarket Accessories, the company is rapidly expanding its presence in Australia, the US and New Zealand. Fit My Car is Australia's largest manufacturer of vehicle floor mats and the category leader in tailor fit vehicle accessories.
The Role will entail:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced CNC programmer, setter and operator to help FitMyCar increase its range of Australian Made products. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Programming, setting and operating HAAS 3 axis CNC Mills machine.
- Quality assurance and validation of work products
- Optimising machine operations as required, via Input control instructions into the machine
- Developing systems and processes for workflows
- Collaborated with design and production teams to solve problems.
- R&D of tools, techniques, materials and designs for current and future applications
- Creating tooling and prototypes for Automotive Accessories
A Successful Candidate will have:
- Minimum 5 years experience in a high precision manufacturing environments
- Good understanding of program editing and G Codes
- MasterCam and Solidworks experience - essential
- Previous experience with 3 axis machinery (5 axis is advantageous)
- Experience with Haas and Fanuc controls
- Ability to understand technical engineering drawings
- Experience in thermoforming, injection moulding or production environments
- A safety first mindset
- Driver's license and own transport
- Great work ethic and be able to cooperate and work well within a collaborative team
- Confidence with power tools
- A passion for cars and the automotive industry (advantageous)
