About the Role
In this dynamic position, you will collaborate closely with the engineering and production teams to fuel innovation through collaboration. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the CNC Machine Manufacturing processes at their Beresfield site, ensuring the effective operation and output of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the CNC Manufacturing Department, managing machine operators and trades assistants while collaborating with Production Managers.
- Ensure work in the department meets high standards of quality, and safety, and adheres to budget and timelines.
- Coordinate with design engineers to ensure drawings are suitable for manufacturing.
- Foster cross-departmental relationships to meet business objectives.
- Manage production scheduling, capacity planning, and troubleshoot issues for process improvements.
- Drive team culture, uphold company values, and maintain a safe, organised workshop environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in production processes and CNC programming.
- Proven leadership in a production setting, emphasising team growth and development.
- Effective collaboration, offering and receiving support from colleagues to achieve business objectives.
