Qualifications & experience
- Minimum 1st Class machinist or equivalent experience to undertake the responsibilities.
- Proficient in MasterCam or similar
- Proficient in running Fanuc and Heidenhain
- Possesses a current drivers licence
- Experience in cutting API Threads would be an advantage.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Setting up and running a variety of CNC lathes and mills.
- Testing and modification of new programs. Designing and manufacture of fixtures.
- Interface with Workshop Coordinator on process and procedure for jobs.
- Writing CNC programs both off the controller and using MasterCam
