Banlaw is a leader in design and manufacture of industrial fluid transfer products used in the mining and rail industries. We are looking to expand the team at our manufacturing facility located in Gateshead.
As a CNC Machinist you will be part of the close-knit supportive team, producing quality machined parts using various Mazak lathes and multi-tasking machines in a clean modern workshop.
This role offers competitive rates on a 9 day fortnight roster, potential quarterly department based manufacturing bonuses and other staff benefits in a collaborative team environment.

The role
- Precision Machining - to high quality standards
- Programming machines against engineering specs
- Testing products first off the run
- Maintain equipment
- Follow QA documentation processes
- Follow all WHS requirements
About you
- Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade
- Lathe, Mill or Multi -tasking CNC operators please apply
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and safety
- Basic Computer skills
- Previous Experience in a similar role
- Solid written and verbal communication
- Team player with a positive attitude
Desirable
- Current Forklift Licence
- Current First Aid Certificate
