Key Responsibilities:
- Operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications.
- Setting up and programming CNC machines as required.
- Operating manual machining equipment such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
- Reading and interpreting engineering plans
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast paced environment
- Ensuring all work meets quality standards and specifications.
- Performing routine maintenance on machines as needed.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and wearing required PPE (steel caps, Hi Vis, safety glasses).
- Requirements:
- Previous experience operating CNC machines is essential.
- Strong technical skills and the ability to read engineering drawings.
- Experience with manual machining equipment is highly desirable.
- Comfortable working with power tools and performing hands-on tasks.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to adapt to new software and technology.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Must be reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
