Computer Room Solutions (CRS) is recognised as a leading innovator and manufacturer in the data centre market. The company specialises in the design, manufacturing and installation of cabinets, security caging, structural data hall ceilings, and airflow management/containment systems.
The organisation operates out of a modern 3,800m² dedicated facility, fully accredited for ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001, with CNC sheet metal manufacturing equipment including turret punches and brake presses. Processes also include extensive MIG welding, spot welding, press stud and clinch nut insertion as well as general assembly.
Due to our continued growth, CRS are seeking to enhance the effectiveness of manufacturing operations through the appointment of an additional CNC Programmer.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proficiency in programming Amada turrets via CAD/CAM software (Metalix preferred) essential
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is essential
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Suite (Projects & Excel particularly), with ability to analyse and report on data
- The ability to work effectively as part of a close team with minimal supervision
- Interpret tool and die library, as well as required clearances for programming appropriate materials
- Understanding and interpreting manufacturing best practices
- Sheetmetal Trade or Engineering qualification desirable but not essential
- Forklift Licence desirable but not essential
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day scheduling and co-ordination of production requirements
- Supporting multiple projects and ongoing fabrication processes
- Administration support to Procurement & Production Managers, as well as Workshop staff
- Forecasting material requirements based on nesting reports
- Updating and maintaining manufacturing schedules based on lead times/expectations, workloads, etc.
- Follow all company rules, policies, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
