The Role
This position offers you the opportunity to be part of a highly experienced and skilled team of professionals installing and servicing world leading Mazak CNC Machine Tools and Laser Cutting Machines. The work is predominantly in-field service being conducted at our customers factories in metropolitan Melbourne and VIC regional centers, and for Laser Machine customers across Australia. As such, this role does require periodic interstate travel.
To become part of this successful team you will need to be confident in your abilities, get a buzz out of working on leading edge equipment and be open to a challenge. You may already be experienced in installing and servicing CNC Machine Tools and/or CNC Laser Cutting Machines, or you may be a Laser machine operator / programmer or maintenance fitter looking for a career change with exposure to a broader range of CNC machinery.
Primary duties of the role include installation of CNC Machine Tools and related equipment (including unpacking of machines, machine location, levelling & alignment, and testing) and to provide mechanical / electrical service for both CNC Machine Tools and CNC laser cutting machines, both in house and on site for our customer base. This will include preventative maintenance, scheduled servicing, repairs, etc. Good mechanical and electrical skills, and knowledge of CNC Machine Tools and/or CNC laser cutting machines is ideal for this role.
A Restricted Electrical License is also required. A Full Electrical License will be well regarded.
