Your new role
Your new role as a CNC Machinist will include:
- Setting up CNC machines, lathes, mills, and other precision machining equipment.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to produce high-quality components.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor and maintain tight tolerances and quality standards throughout the machining process.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimise processes and troubleshoot any issues.
- Operate forklifts when required to load/unload machines.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clear and organised work area.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum of four years as a CNC machinist.
- Programming experience
- Proficiency in operating CNC machines and manual machining equipment.
- Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in a team-orientated environment.
