This role is responsible for the Coordination and Facilitation of the Coach Education and Development courses and opportunities within the Hills District. This will include the delivery of grassroots Community Coaching courses to provide development opportunities to the Hills Football member base as well as ensuring the ongoing education and mentoring of current and future coaches.
This is a Casual role which requires direct contact with Hills Football Member Clubs and the face-to-face delivery of courses as well as support for their members. This will include mentoring current and aspiring football coaches, but also mentoring the Club Coach Coordinators and Instructors.
This role will be primarily responsible for the delivery of:
- Community Grassroots Coaching Courses
- Upskill opportunities for coach educators/instructors
- Mentorship programs for Club Coach Coordinators
- Must have a minimum of an AFC B Licence or equivalent.
- Approved grassroots Coaching Instructor.
- Experience delivering grassroots coaching courses or similar.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Experience working within the sports industry within the technical player or coach development fields, or other respective areas.
- Strong football knowledge related to Coach Education and player development frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder relationship management skills.
- Highly organised with strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
- A current NSW Drivers License.
- Working with Children Check Clearance.
This is a seasonal role and will require different hours for the delivery of Coaching Education Courses at different times of the season, with the bulk of the workload being completed between the months of October/November through to May/June within a calendar year.
The main delivery requirements would see mid-week evening work (6:00pm - 9:00pm) during the peak periods.
Some weekend and varying hours would also be required at different times of the year.
