The role
Located in Hurstville, NSW, this is an amazing opportunity to be part of a great team responsible for collecting on credit accounts for our clients.
As aCollections Officer-Insurance your main aim is to recover funds for our Motor Vehicle Insurance clients, providing a seamless customer service experience.
We work on a hybrid working model (3 days in the office and 2 days at home) for a full-time employee. The successful candidate will be required to work one day per week till 8:00pm.
Responsibilities
Here’s an example of your day to day:
- Oversee the collections process, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of outstanding accounts whilst maintain meticulous records of collections activities.
- Receive inbound calls and proactively make outbound calls, demonstrating excellent communication skills to negotiate, implement, and monitor payment arrangements.
- Identify hardship language and potentially vulnerable customers, taking appropriate steps to implement suitable arrangements and ensuring their needs are met with compassion and understanding.
- Utilise skip tracing techniques to locate third parties, enabling effective collections efforts and improving success rates.
- Engage with clients in a professional and empathetic manner, providing top-notch customer service while assisting them in resolving payment issues.
Requirements
