Look no further!Our client is renowned for engineering and producing medium to large-scale mechanical and thermal capital equipment and services, they have expanded their expertise to encompass fluid power, plant automation, and safe access systems.They are seeking a dedicated individual to join the team as a Type B licensed plumber. This role is full-time Monday – Friday and offers a competitive salary starting at $45 per hour plus super. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adequate service planning, schedules, and job execution
- Assist the service manager with quotations, customer enquiries and service
- Action service reports on all jobs in accordance with correct procedures
- Provide technical support to customers, team members and project managers
- Seek and report new sales opportunities where possible
- Develop new customer relationships and focus on existing customers
Requirements:
- Licensed/registered as a Type B plumber: You must hold the necessary qualifications to ensure our work meets industry standards.
- Grade A electrical license (highly desired) OR a reconnect/disconnect license: Additional electrical expertise is a big plus in our book.
- Highly advantageous to have a plumbing background: We highly value candidates with a strong understanding of plumbing fundamentals.
- Proficiency in fault finding: Troubleshooting is key in our line of work, so we need someone who can diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
- Exposure to industrial burners: Experience with industrial burners is advantageous but not mandatory.
