Your Role:
Working on one of our major contracts, the Adelaide Airport, we are looking for a motivated, well presented and experienced working Supervisor to join our team.
This is a full-time position and the hours of work are Monday to Friday 2:00pm – 10:00pm.
Reporting to the Site Manager, your duties include but are not limited to:
- Working collaboratively with the Site Manager, ensure that when a directive is given, that it is followed and implemented to the rest of the team in a timely manner..
- Managing the cleaning standards of the client’s site as per the client’s specifications.
- Ensuring the cleaning standards of all cleaners, is at a high standard and provide feedback and training on areas of improvement.
- Abide by company policies and procedures.
- Processing of timesheets fortnightly in accordance with company policy.
- Notifying management of any Safety concerns or incidents and ensure that they are raised in our compliance system, Rapid Global.
- Following reasonable lawful instructions given by management.
- Working from complex instructions and procedures.
- Assisting in the provision of on-the-job training.
- Performing those tasks customarily performed by cleaners.
- Providing relevant reports containing employee hours work, additional work etc to head office to ensure accurate on charging and payroll records.
- Ensuring that the cleaners’ room is kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Ensuring that cleaners are keeping their trolley’s clean and tidy at all times and that they are wiped down after each shift, which includes the removal of all rubbish.
- Notifying the Site Manger of any broken equipment in a timely manner.
- Customer or public relations duties as required.
- Ensuring ongoing training of current and new staff members.
- You may be required to perform other duties as directed by the Site Manager and/or State Manager.
The Successful Applicant must have:
- A Current police check (or willing to obtain one)
- Australian Working Rights
- You must also be willing to undergo mandatory Drug and Alcohol testing, as per our client’s requirements.
- Knowledge of the use of a scrubber and sweeper will be highly regarded, as well as previous experience in managing a team of people.
- The successful applicant will be required to fulfill all requirements within the position description and person specification.
- Hourly rates are paid as per The Cleaning Services Award 2020 - Cleaning Services Employee Level Two (CSE 2)
