We are currently seeking a Night Receptionist to join our team.
Reporting to the Director of Rooms, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- To efficiently register a guest upon check-in, ensuring all their requests are fulfilled where possible and that all required information is received pertaining to their stay.
- To efficiently check a guest out, ensuring all charges are correct, bills are signed, paperwork attached and luggage removed from room.
- To have a thorough knowledge of both the hotel and its facilities, and a thorough knowledge of the local area and services
- Ensure all guest charges are correctly posted to the relevant guest folio
- To be able to take reservations, when necessary, either by phone or directly. To monitor hotel occupancy and do not place the hotel in an overbooked situation.
- To answer the phone within three rings (includes both internal and external calls), in accordance with established hotel operating procedures and direct the call in an efficient manner.
To be considered for this role you need to:
- Experience in customer service role, preferably in a 4 or 5 star hospitality establishment
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to interact with all guests
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Be available to work flexible hours
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Perth and surrounding areas
- Ability to speak additional languages (desirable not essential)
- Experience using ‘Opera’ property management system (desirable not essential)
- National police clearance
