Our Audiovisual/Events team is seeking a dynamic, eager and experienced Technical Projects Manager/s.
Depending on skillset and experience, we have roles based in either our Bayswater HQ or one of PAV's premier venues. The position provides continuous technical support to our Event Managers, Venues and Operations teams.
You will manage and develop a client base by handling projects on varying scales from conception to delivery. Event delivery may include assisting and directing PAV Operational staff whilst being the contact for clients, sub-contractors and venue staff.
The Technical Projects Manager role requires extensive industry experience with a rounded understanding of audio, projection, LED and lighting products including equipment setup, networking/patching and rigging. Additionally, you will have experience in AV/event quoting, technical drawing (CAD/Vectorworks) and strong, confident client interaction.
Ideally, you have current employment or recent experience in a fast-paced Event / AV company or Venue based in Perth or further afield. Candidates will also possess the following skills and abilities:
GENERAL
- High-level/extensive events industry experience and show-craft
- Proven leadership skills and willingness to lead a team
- WHS knowledge and experience
- Industry HIGH RISK certifications favoured
- Highly creative with a strong eye for detail
- Minimum of 5 years industry experience
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
- All production systems including Audio / LED / Projection / Lighting
- Understanding of high-end brands such as GrandMA, L'Acoustic, Novastar, Allen+Heath, BARCO and Panasonic.
- Experience with production networking systems
- Media Server systems
- Production rigging systems / theory
