Job Description:We currently have an opportunity for a
Commercial Director to join our team. This position will support the Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture (RRJV), which is a 50/50 joint venture between Downer and CPB Contractors to undertake major upgrades and replacement of existing infrastructure and facilities.We are seeking candidates with NV1 Security Clearance to be part of our team on the redevelopment project, covering the Albury Wodonga Military Area, Blamey Barracks (Kapooka) and the RAAF Base Wagga.
Responsibilities:The role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below:
- Own and be accountable for all commercial issues and initiatives in the lines of business and specifically the RRJV.
- Be across all key contract commercial mechanisms with a particular focus on pricing, KPIs, abatement, performance, security and key deliverables.
- Work with contract managers to ensure opportunities for growth through contract variations are identified, scoped, negotiated, agreed and implemented.
- Managing the finalisation of the Cost Plan (post DDR) to align with the procurement requirements for work packaging and cost coding
- Provide commercial analytics on contractual performance to identify and cultivate commercial initiatives.
- Develop and maintain a schedule of all commercial issues and initiatives.
Qualifications:What you'll bring- Hold or able to obtain an NV1 Government Security Clearance (must have)
- A Qualification in a related discipline, e.g. law, finance, commercial, operations management, construction management.
- Proven experience at a senior level in a large services business with multiple services and locations.
- Experience of Government contracting.
- A strong customer and commercial focus including the ability to identify solutions that add customer value and deliver returns.
- Demonstrated management experience within a collaborative working environment, delivering the required outcomes against a performance-based contract with agreed key performance indicators.
- Demonstrated experience in working with major subcontractors and suppliers.
- Experience in managing and implementing project and bid governance systems.
