UGL’s University of Queensland Project is the lead contractor for corrective maintenance and project work on UQ’s sites throughout QLD. You get to work at state-of-the-art facilities including; encompassing commercial buildings and offices, research laboratories, industrial workshops, as well as sports fields and street lighting projects.
Based at UQ’s St Lucia campus, we seeking experienced Electricians to become key member of our team. You will be responsible for providing support on site to remedy issues and faults and undertake preventative and reactive maintenance. The types of work that you may be required to undertake include but are not limited to:
- Minor works projects
- Switchboard upgrades/ replacements.
- Preventative & Corrective maintenance
- Emergency Lights testing, repairs & installations.
- Recording & reporting on test results
- Experience working in Commercial Construction & Maintenance
- Current Electrical Licence
- Hold a current LVR / CPR Certificate
- Fault finding and experience.
- Ability to work within a team and unsupervised.
- Experience with Nexus LX, Nexus RF & Clevertronics Zoneworks
- Experience with Excel & Workflow Management Systems
