AddressBusy cafe in Randwick is seeking a Cafe Manager to work full time.
This position is responsible for:
- Operational Management:
- Supervise daily operations of the cafe.
- Ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, and cleanliness.
- Manage inventory levels and ordering of supplies.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Customer Service:
- Train and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests.
- Maintain a welcoming and efficient atmosphere.
- Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and roster staff.
- Set performance expectations and provide regular feedback.
- Monitor staff productivity and morale.
- Financial Management:
- Monitor sales performance and budget.
- Implement cost-control measures to optimise profitability.
- Ensure adherence to budget and financial guidelines.
- Menu Development:
- Collaborate with chefs to design and update menu offerings.
- Ensure menu items are cost-effective and meet quality standards.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Uphold health and safety regulations.

The nominee should have below required skills and experience:
- Passion for hospitality.
- Proven experience as a Cafe Manager or similar role (minimum 2 years experience)
- Strong leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Immaculate communication and customer service abilities.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Good attention to details.
- Up to date knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must have valid RSA.
