About the Position:
WorkPac are currently seeking a Contract Administrator to work with our local mining Client in Rolleston. This position is an initial 12-month duration, potential for extension. This role offer DIDO or FIFO options and will be a Monday to Friday Roster, 11 hour days. As a contract administrator, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of contract administration for a project involving an open cut mine expansion.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage business contractors
Liaise with internal and external vendors and suppliers.
Making sure conditions are correctly documented and followed through.
Skills and Experience:
Must have or willing to obtain CBM and Standard 11
The role will be Civil/Construction Background with 3 years experience in the tendering, pre contract & execution phase administration.
Reporting to the Project Manager assisting in the pretender scope development, tendering, contract development and administration of contracts
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software
Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to contracts and procurement
