Form of workPartnering with the Commercial Content leadership team and reporting to the GM Finance, this role will have responsibility for the division’s budgeting and forecasting, strategy and management reporting as well as Commercial Finance responsibility for the in-house agencies and publications.
With 1-2 team members, the role will provide commercial insights to drive competitive advantage, business growth and high margins for the business and will suit someone looking for broad senior executive exposure and responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all management reporting, budgeting and forecasting requirements for the Division
Business partner with the in-house agencies and lifestyle publications providing insights and helping identify and model commercial initiatives
Challenge and influence to support the delivery of targets with a high focus on profitability and margins
Lead, develop and inspire a team and build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders incl business stakeholders, external agency finance teams and NCA finance teams
Identify and implement process improvements and generate process efficiencies
Drive ongoing reduction in cost base through innovation and efficiency focus
Strong commercial acumen & professional accounting competency (CA / CPA qualified).
Experience in revenue and cost management, business case development and financial modelling.
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build and maintain trusted relationships.
Experience in managing and influencing multiple stakeholders.
Able to deal with ambiguity and complexity to effectively solve problems.
