About the Team
You will be assisted by the Managing Partner of the firm. Whilst we are a general practice law firm, the Managing Partner works predominantly in Commercial Law.
About the Role
- An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Lawyer to gain experience at a boutique law firm due to continued expansion of Arver Law.
- Your role involves aiding the team and, under the guidance of the principal, participating in the management of litigation and commercial matters. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing clients with legal advice
- Managing prospective client relationships
- Drafting of legal documents and assisting senior staff members in preparation of various legal documents and agreements
- Drafting and updating legal precedents in accordance with regulatory and legislative changes
- Conducting effective legal research and analysis to produce timely, commercial, and legally accurate advice
- Attending court as required
- Managing a robust workload, including prioritizing work and delivering services effectively
- Mentoring and developing junior staff
About You
- Proven track record with a minimum of two years in various legal sectors.
- A desire to be an integral member of a strong and cohesive team who work together;
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (fluent in second language is a bonus) as well as interpersonal skills;
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills; 4. Commitment to provide excellent service and desire to build and maintain good professional relationships;
- Be team-focused but also able to work independently;
- Ability to manage large volume of documents;
- Practical and client focused problem solving and research skills; 8. Previous exposure to Business Development and a natural ability to build strong client relationships;
- Ability to manage client expectations and handle matters autonomously;
- Strong focus on turnaround time.
