The Firm & The Role
Our client is well established commercial law firm, situated in the heart of the CBD. Due to the firm's strategy and succession planning, our client is looking to hire an experienced Property Lawyer at the Senior Lawyer or Senior Associate or Special Counsel level. Our client will also look at candidates at the Principal level.
Clients include major commercial clients, major retailers and landlords as well as high net worth individuals. The team has experience in:
- major property developments including off the plan developments
- commercial and retail leasing for major landlords
- sales and acquisitions of Commercial Property as well as rural property
- general property advice e.g. advice on property planning, advice on property title structuring, advice on adverse possession, advice on compulsory acquisition
- providing advice on subdivision of properties, leases, licenses and easements
- owners corporations and strata schemes
This role will allow you to work across clients in a broad range of industry sectors e.g. financial services, hospitality, construction, technology, insurance.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Be an experienced Commercial Property Lawyer
- Have excellent technical skills as well as commercial nous
- Have excellent communication skills, able to foster strong client relationships
- Have the skills and experience to further grow the practice
- Enjoy networking and business development
- Be a team player but also enjoys working independently
- Be highly organised and be able to manage competing deadlines
- Be enthusiastic, be pro-active and a self-starter
