With a new commercial management framework being implemented, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Manager for a fixed term 2 year contract, to lead the company into its next phase of growth.
In recent years, G4S has consolidated and restructured its contracts, and identified commercial management as an area of priority and investment in the coming years. While new contracts with high success/returns are welcome, a core focus will be securing contract renewals and growing existing contracts that are primed for expansion.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement commercial strategies that support the profitability of the business.
- Work with General Managers to identify and exploit opportunities for growth within existing contracts and new opportunities with existing/adjacent customers.
- Lead the bid and proposal process, ensuring that high-quality, accurate and well-presented materials are produced in line with customer requirements.
- Manage and deliver all commercial aspects of customer contracts, including contract negotiations, performance management and dispute resolution.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a commercial role, preferably in a services or facilities management business or professional service advisory.
- Proven ability to develop and execute commercial strategies to improve financial performance.
- Ability to develop and execute plans that will drive growth
- Strong leadership, negotiation and communication skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
- A growth mentality with confidence in generating new business opportunities from existing customers and negotiating the desired outcome.
- Strong customer focus.
