About the Opportunity:
We are building a highly automated glass manufacturing and remanufacturing facility in Yatala just south of Brisbane. The factory represents the largest investment we’ve ever made to enable us to recycle up to 200,000 tonnes of Queensland’s glass annually to produce 1 billion bottles a year. We are building next to our Box factory and Food & Beverage Can plant.
Our new facility will create a beverage container precinct to further support customers and a range of new career pathways for our staff. The project is expected to be operational in 2025.
You will be responsible for:
The management and development of the Commercial and Contracts Administration team.
Overseeing the accurate and timely receipt of financial records, collaborating, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage vendor relationships.
- Working closely with site leadership to review financial performance against the project schedule. Investigating any exceptions, supporting resource planning, and reviewing progress and overall performance to plan. Management relevant dashboard reporting.
Contributing and producing reports for various meetings, planning purposes and objectives.
Management of the project invoicing and payment schedules.
Assessing risks, overseeing governance and compliance. Reviewing compliance to internal and external standards and compliance requirements.
Your Experience:
Tertiary qualifications in finance, commerce, accounting or law would be an advantage. You will have financial, cost management and reporting experience.
Commercial experience across various project delivery models. Ideally with experience supporting complex, multi-stage construction projects.
Experience leading, coaching, and developing high performing teams.
Advanced skills in MS Excel, Work and Power Point.
A track record of preparing both “detailed’ and “management level” reporting, with an understanding of the requirements of different stakeholders.
