Form of workKJB Law is seeking a commercial lawyer with 3+ years PAE to join our busy commercial team who is career – driven and eager to make a significant impact.
KJB Law is a long established (45+ years), highly regarded (winning the Canberra 2021 Business of the Year Award) multi-disciplinary practice inclusive of a specialist Commercial Property team.
The Role

Your matters will include:
- Commercial & Retail Leasing
- Business acquisitions and sales
- Business structures and restructuring
- Commercial Litigation
- Advising on Shareholder Agreements
- Franchise advice

What we need from you:
- 3+ years post admission Commercial law experience;
- A friendly person with a positive and supportive attitude, with the ability to adapt and be flexible;
- An ability or willingness to adopt a mentoring and leadership role;
- Excellent advisory, negotiation and advocacy skills;
- Excellent drafting skills; and extremely high attention to detail
- Experience in the following areas of commercial work - commercial & retail leasing, commercial ventures/property development and general business structuring is desired;
- Comfortable with technology and systems (at least basic knowledge of PEXA)
